About me
I was first introduced to CPS as a high school student, and it impacted the way I saw challenges, the way I thought about solutions, and the way I led others through challenges. I was re-introduced to CPS at CPSI 2020 and 2021, and deepened my understanding through the Foundations and Tools courses. Throughout my professional career, I have facilitated groups through problem-solving processes, often using CPS tools and techniques. As a professional coach, I find myself using CPS tools frequently with clients.
As a learning facilitator, I help concepts and skills come alive by designing and delivering highly experiential training with effective debriefing and reflection. Moreover, I am extremely attentive to the environment and group dynamics, and I make intentional efforts to cultivate a safe, welcoming, and inclusive culture that fosters curiosity, vulnerability, and a strong sense of belonging. I am a facilitator who focuses first on who (not what) I am teaching, and I strive to connect personally with each participant. My academic degrees, coaching certifications, creativity training, and professional experience have solidified this individualized, person-centered approach and have engrained the listening and communication skills I use when facilitating and coaching.
